We are seeking a surgically oriented Ophthalmologist to join a private ophthalmology practice in Old Bridge, NJ. This is a high-volume surgical opportunity focused on cataract and refractive procedures. The ideal candidate will be confident performing cataract surgery and interested in premium and refractive ophthalmology. New graduates may be considered if they demonstrate excellent surgical ability.

Key Responsibilities & Highlights:

Perform cataract and refractive surgical procedures Manage approximately patients per day Perform cataract surgery, premium IOL procedures, femtosecond laser cataract surgery, LASIK, and EVO ICL Approximately 90% premium IOL conversion for cataract cases Receive direct mentorship from an experienced, high-volume cataract surgeon Work with advanced technology and strong technician/scribe support Flexible schedule of approximately hours per week Minimal call with no regular weekend or holiday requirements

Qualifications:

MD/DO with completed Ophthalmology residency Board Certified or Board Eligible Active NJ medical license or eligibility to obtain one Strong cataract surgical skills and genuinely surgically oriented Refractive/cataract fellowship preferred but not required New graduates may be considered with excellent surgical ability Comfortable working in a high-volume surgical environment
