PAs Preferred:
Civil Surgeon with ability to perform immigration physicals Our busy urgent care located in Centereach is looking for a qualified Physician to join our Urgent Care team. The ideal candidate is comfortable seeing patients of all age groups, is able to multi-task and works well under pressure. Our staff is all experienced in Emergency Medicine and provides a wide range of urgent care services. Our centers are UCAOA Accredited, open 7 days a week and offer X-Ray, EKG and point of care lab testing on site.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Ensure proper diagnosis, treatment, and management of minor illnesses and injuries Evaluation and treatment of the occupational medicine patient Assessment and treatment of the pediatric patient with minor illnesses Follow basic clinical care standards and practice evidence-based medicine Orthopedic injury management Complete chart documentation using an EMR Prescribe medications
Requirements:
Licensed to practice in NY Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine EKG and X-ray reading ability Suturing, splinting, I&D and other procedural skills Comfortable with the evaluation and treatment of patients 4 months and older Excellent bedside manner, customer satisfaction skills and solid clinical judgment BLS, ACLS, or PALS certified Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified Active DEA to be maintained during employment Board Certified/Board Eligible (Required) in Emergency Medicine Board Certified/Board Eligible (Required) in Family Medicine Board Certified/Board Eligible (Required) in Internal Medicine (must have Emergency Room and/or Urgent Care experience
Schedule:
36 hours per week / 1872 hours per year for full-time 7 or 12 hour shifts

Relevant:

License/Certification:
