Auren, LLC, also known as Illinois Marijuana Card, is seeking an Illinois‑licensed Physician to provide telehealth‑only medical cannabis evaluations for patients seeking certification under the Illinois Medical Cannabis Patient Program (MCPP). This role is ideal for physicians who want flexible scheduling, a streamlined remote workflow, and a compliant, patient‑centered clinical environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Telehealth Evaluations — Conduct virtual assessments to determine patient eligibility for medical cannabis certification.
  • Clinical Recommendations — Issue compliant medical cannabis certifications for qualifying patients.
  • EMR Documentation — Complete accurate, legally compliant charting within our telehealth platform.
  • Patient Education — Provide guidance on therapeutic use, dosing considerations, and safety.
  • Care Coordination — Collaborate with support staff to ensure seamless patient flow and follow‑up. Qualifications
  • Active Illinois MD or DO license in good standing
  • Comfortable practicing exclusively via telehealth
  • Experience in primary care, pain management, psychiatry, neurology, or similar fields preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a patient‑centered approach
  • Commitment to compliance with Illinois MCPP regulations Compensation & Schedule
