Successful applicants will be ABA Board Certified or Board Eligible; completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology or Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology; and completed an advanced Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology or have significant career experience caring for children with complex congenital cardiac disease. Vanderbilt is seeking an outstanding Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist to support the exciting growth of our Pediatric Heart Institute in its commitment to delivering the highest level of multidisciplinary care. Our program provides advanced care for children with the full spectrum of congenital heart disease and has experienced 20% growth in surgical volume in the last year, now with over 550 operations including over 500 index cases annually and exceptional outcomes. We have extraordinary faculty throughout our anesthesiology, surgery, cardiology, and cardiac critical care divisions contributing to a comprehensive and ascendant congenital cardiac program. This position requires a collaborative clinician committed to excellence in multidisciplinary care, education, and program development. Responsibilities include participation in fellow, advanced fellow and resident education, team based care, and contributions to advancing the mission of a comprehensive heart center.
