Position Summary :
The part time pediatrician provides direct outpatient care to pediatric patients and supports the development of policies and protocols for our newly expanded pediatric program which will provide care to newborns and up for the first time in late 2026.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide direct patient care in the Pediatrics Department; Assist in development and review of clinical policies and protocols for the pediatric program with a focus on newborn up to 3 years of age Work with MCH Medical Director to review pediatric program data and outcomes; Identify and implement strategies to increase efficiency on the clinical floor; Provide support to volunteer pediatric providers as needed during clinical shifts; Ensure timely review and follow up for pediatric labs and imaging; Provide support to and oversite of pediatric residents from community training programs such as VCU and St. Francis Family Practice; Collaborate with obstetric and family practice providers in providing dyad care for parents of pediatric patients Minimum Qualifications MD/DO in Pediatrics or Family Medicine with applicable pediatric experience Relevant clinical experience in outpatient pediatric primary care settings Experience and skill in using electronic medical records Commitment to providing culturally sensitive care and ability to work with different ethnic groups, especially African American, Hispanic, and Middle Eastern Commitment to the Mission and Values of CrossOver Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish and English Experience in a Safety Net setting CrossOver is an equal employment opportunity employer. Pay:
$78.00 - $82.00 per hour
