This position is contingent upon contract award. Everforth ECS is seeking a Web Develope r to work remotely . Everforth ECS is seeking a talent ed Web Developer to join our dynamic data team supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Our team supports public facing websites across DHS, in support of the mission essential Web Content Management program. The Web Developer will be r esponsible for design, development, and maintenance of software applications, autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs.
Responsibilities :
Support all exercise and operational web development requirements. Provide web expertise to US/Coalition Networks, enabling and enhancing information sharing. Provide SharePoint development/site content manager skills. Candidate must be able to interact professionally and successfully with Government operational representatives. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and is required to have high level public speaking abilities.
Salary Range:
$150,000-$160,000 Required Skills Must be a US Citizen 9+ y ears of relevant work experience Experience with high-level military staff briefing and action items Highly experienced with Microsoft Office O365 products; excellent writing/briefing skills Extensive knowledge of Python and related frameworks including Django and Flask. Extensive knowledge in HTML, modern JavaScript frameworks to include Angular, React, or Vue.js. Basic knowledge in understanding CSS and its respective frameworks i.e., bootstrap and tailwind) Ability to support a dynamic, fast-paced work environment SharePoint specialist: ability to cross-train on other OES positions and support for short duration surge/contingency Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification required for DoD 8570 compliance, or ability to complete certification within 60 days of start of employment. (Acceptable IAT Level II certificates include: CCNA-Security , CySA +, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, CND, or SSCP.) Desired Skills Architect, develop, and release custom software solutions, web-based application systems, and web services as per requirements and security compliance Develop stored procedures for SQL Server databases Perform daily operations and maintenance tasks, to include maintaining web servers and sites, troubleshooting issues and debugging and documenting legacy systems Troubleshoot infrastructure integration with IIS servers and configuration Significant experience with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) management, troubleshooting application and web server errors, and IIS security compliance SQL Reporting Services experience desired Experience using Agile development methodologies Desire experience with cloud architecture Familiarity with Git-based source control Knowledge of DHS security requirements, regulations, policies, and procedures ECS Federal LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis any characteristic protected by law.
