Part-Time Clinician (Contractor - License Eligible or Licensed)

Remote (Virginia) or Hybrid / In-Office (Portsmouth, VA) Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Clinician to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services while maintaining a minimum caseload of at least 15 clients per week. We offer the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the state of Virginia, or to work out of our office located in Portsmouth, VA for local clinicians who prefer in-person space or a hybrid schedule. If you are license-eligible, this position offers an excellent opportunity to actively accrue the supervised clinical hours required for full state licensure (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) under professional clinical supervision.

Key Responsibilities Direct Client Care:

Conduct individual, group, or family therapeutic sessions with a minimum caseload of 15 clients per week.

Clinical Assessment & Treatment Planning:

Perform clinical intakes, formulate diagnostic impressions, and develop goal-oriented treatment plans.

Documentation:

Complete and submit all progress notes (SOAP/DAP format) within 24 hours in our EHR system (TherapyNotes).

Crisis Management:

Escalation of high-risk clinical situations according to practice protocols.

Supervision & Meetings:

Participate in clinical supervision/consultations, present cases, and track licensure hours (if applicable).

Compliance & Ethics:

Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations, ethical board guidelines, and practice protocols. Contractor Must-Haves /

Qualifications Location Requirement:

Must reside and be legally licensed/registered to practice within the State of Virginia .

Active License or Supervision Contract:

Must hold an active Virginia state license (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) or have an active supervision contract in place for license eligibility.

Minimum Capacity:

Must be available and able to take at least 15 clients per week .

Liability Insurance:

Must possess and maintain professional liability (malpractice) insurance.

Background Check:

Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check (including OIG exclusion check).

EHR Familiarity:

Experience or comfort using Electronic Health Record systems (TherapyNotes preferred). Benefits /
