Situated near the scenic La Quinta area, this position invites local professionalsor those dedicated to relocating permanentlyto collaborate with passionate educators and work directly with students in need of support.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current and valid California School Psychologist credential or license required Experience working within K-12 public school systems preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and behavioral intervention skills Ability to contribute to multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with staff, students, and families Candidates residing locally are strongly preferred; consideration for those relocating permanently
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and program planning Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct counseling and mental health support to students to promote academic and emotional success Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement effective interventions Maintain accurate records and participate actively in student support meetings Awaiting further details regarding caseload distribution This is a contract opportunity offering the chance to work and grow in a welcoming and professionally rewarding educational setting.
