Supervising Psychologist (PsyD/PhD) — Part-Time | $150/Hour W-2 California | Part-Time | Flexible Schedule $150/hour W-2 Potential to Grow Into Full-Time You're a psychologist. You love the parts of the work that actually use your training. You love a great intake assessment: asking the right questions, seeing the whole picture, and figuring out what may really be going on. You care about diagnosis and differential diagnosis. You believe a treatment plan should prescribe thoughtful, individualized care, not just simply check a box. And you like being the person another therapist can turn to when a case needs another set of experienced clinical eyes. If that sounds like you, this role was built differently on purpose. At Zeeva, your work will be focused: comprehensive initial assessments, treatment plan reviews and updates, and psychologist-level consultation when the treating clinician needs it. No enormous psychotherapy caseload. No unnecessary administrative load. Just meaningful psychologist-level work at $150/hour W-2. For all hours worked.
WHO WE ARE
There are workplaces that talk about excellence and true, meaningful mental health care. And then there's Zeeva. We are a woman-owned and operated, clinician-led psychotherapy practice delivering exceptional, deeply personalized therapy while remaining deeply committed to accessibility, including Medicare and Medi-Cal. We believe excellence and humanity are essential together. We believe warm, connected teams produce extraordinary clinical work. And we believe clinicians do their best work when they are surrounded by other clinicians who think deeply, share what they know, ask hard questions, and care enormously about getting the work right. Every decision is made through a clinical lens, never a corporate one. We are intentionally independent, relentlessly curious, and always asking how we can do better. Our mission is to care for one another, bring light to the world, and advance trauma-informed, whole-person mental health care: One life. One family. One community at a time.
THE ROLE
Your doctoral training should matter. As a Part-Time Supervising Psychologist , you will provide psychologist-level involvement in the care of Zeeva clients, with a particular focus on our Medicare program.
Your primary work will include:
Comprehensive initial intake and diagnostic assessments Treatment plan reviews, updates, and reassessments Differential diagnosis and diagnostic clarification when needed Thoughtful clinical recommendations and treatment direction Availability to treating therapists for consultation as needed Psychologist-level involvement in Medicare care That is the heart of the role. You are not being hired to carry a large ongoing therapy caseload or spend your week in meetings. We want your time spent doing the work that actually requires a psychologist. Intake assessment, treatment planning reviews, and clinical oversight.
COMPENSATION
$150/hour W-2. All hours worked. This is a genuinely part-time position with a flexible schedule. Required clinical work, documentation, consultation, and required meetings are paid. Zeeva handles scheduling, billing, credentialing, marketing, and client-care support so your time can remain focused on the clinical work.
WANT SOMETHING BIGGER?
This role can stay part-time. But it does not have to. As Zeeva continues to expand, there is potential for this position to grow into a full-time psychologist role . We are also hiring for a full-time Clinical Supervisor position for a psychologist interested in a broader role supervising and developing clinicians, strengthening clinical standards, consulting on complex cases, contributing to training, and helping shape exceptional care across the practice. You may want a few meaningful hours each week. You may eventually want to build something much bigger here. There is room for both.
WHO YOU ARE
You are a psychologist who genuinely loves clinical thinking. You enjoy the complicated presentation, the competing diagnoses, the history that deserves another question, and the moment when something finally clicks into place. You believe assessment and treatment planning matter. You want the diagnosis, goals, interventions, and recommended care to actually fit the human being in front of you. You can offer another clinician a thoughtful perspective without needing to take over their case. You are warm without sacrificing clinical rigor. Confident enough to offer your perspective and reflective enough to reconsider it. You have never stopped being a student. And you want to work somewhere that values what a psychologist uniquely brings to clinical care.
