Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a positive impact in educational settings by utilizing your expertise as a School Psychologist. This contract-based opportunity offers the chance to work with students and educators, supporting the school community while a district psychologist is on maternity leave. Located in a friendly and supportive district, your role will focus on conducting outstanding assessments for students in need.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification Previous experience providing psychological services in a school environment Ability to perform psycho-educational evaluations and write comprehensive reports Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Comfortable working onsite; open to virtual (Voco) if needed Part-time availability through the end of the school yearResponsibilities:
Complete school-based assessments in line with state and district guidelines Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to interpret findings and inform educational planning Provide recommendations for interventions and strategies to support students' academic and emotional needs Maintain up-to-date documentation and records per school policies Contribute as part of the special education team, attending meetings and sharing insight on student progress This role offers a unique chance to support students' growth while maintaining flexibility in your work schedule.
