Qualifications & Skills:

Valid School Psychologist credential or license Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field Experience working with K-12 students preferred Familiarity with psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to adapt to diverse school environments and student needs Background check and fingerprint clearance required

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret results for educational planning Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support academic and behavioral strategies Deliver crisis response, risk assessments, and appropriate recommendations Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory policies Offer consultation to staff on student behavior, learning, and mental health topics
