This contract position runs from as soon as possible until the end of November, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid CT 070 School Psychologist License required Experience working in school settings strongly preferred Proficiency in conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and assessment reports Strong counseling skills with the ability to provide direct support to students Collaborative approach to supporting teams and facilitating PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
Administer assessments for students, including initial and re-evaluations Prepare clear, actionable psychological reports for school teams and families Provide individual and group counseling for students as assigned Serve as a key member of the PPT team, contributing insights for student plans and supports Deliver direct support to students, addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Consult and collaborate with staff, teachers, and families to promote student success A contract role like this offers a unique way to expand your skills while contributing to a supportive school atmosphere.
