School Psychologist - Deep River, CT ProCare Therapy - 3.9 New Haven, CT Job Details Part-time | Full-time $38.93 - $68.93 an hour 12 days ago Benefits Dental insurance Paid housing 401(k) matching Qualifications Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description Make a meaningful impact as a school psychologist working in a supportive school environment, serving students on a contract basis for the upcoming school year.
Position Details:
Location - Deep River, CT Full-Time or Part-Time 2026/27 school year We also work with schools Nationwide, offering Virtual and TravelContract opportunities Travel includes tax-free stipends for Housing, Meals, and Incidentals.
Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility Demonstrated experience in educational settings, preferably across both elementary and middle grades Expertise in assessment, IEP evaluations, and delivering services for diverse student populations Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and building-based teams Familiarity with student intervention and crisis response teams is highly valued Strong organizational abilities to support problem-solving processes and team integration
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and contribute to IEP planning and implementation Actively participate in Student Intervention Team and Building Crisis Team activities Work with staff and families to design interventions, support problem-solving, and promote student well-being Facilitate timely evaluations and provide direct services as outlined in student IEPs Support a safe, inclusive, and responsive school climate, working across both elementary and middle school grades Serve as a resource for staff development and consult on behavioral and learning challenges
