Key Qualifications:

Valid certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist Previous experience in school-based psychological services preferred Strong skills in administering and interpreting psychological and academic assessments Ability to provide targeted counseling to support a diverse student population Demonstrated understanding of special education evaluation procedures and relevant laws Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct approximately 25 comprehensive student evaluations per year, including cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments Deliver individual and small group counseling to support students' mental health and academic achievement Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret evaluation results and develop effective educational plans Attend and participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise for intervention planning and progress monitoring Offer consultative services and strategies to staff and parents to foster student well-being Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district policies This role provides an impactful way to apply your expertise, advocate for students, and contribute to a positive school environment on a flexible, part-time schedule.
