Key Responsibilities Group Therapy Facilitation:
Lead engaging and supportive group sessions that encourage clients to express their thoughts, share experiences, and learn from one another in a safe environment.Individual Counseling:
Provide personalized, empathetic counseling sessions that help clients dive deep into their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, equipping them with practical coping strategies.Treatment Planning:
Collaborate with clients to develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to their unique challenges and aspirations.Progress Monitoring:
Utilize various assessment tools and feedback methods to track client progress, ensuring that care is effectively aligned with their evolving needs.Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
Work alongside other professionals in the treatment team, fostering an integrated approach to care that focuses on holistic outcomes for clients. Patient Population / Client Focus This role will primarily involve working with young adults grappling with a range of mental health issues, including mood disorders, anxiety, and relationship challenges. You will provide a supportive framework that encourages resilience and personal growth, empowering clients to achieve and sustain recovery. Your expertise will play a crucial role in nurturing healing and guiding each individual toward a path of empowerment.Qualifications Education:
A Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.Licensure:
Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut is required.Experience:
Prior experience in providing mental health treatment within outpatient or residential settings, demonstrating a history of effectively supporting clients with mental health challenges.Collaboration Skills:

Competency in techniques including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT), along with thorough documentation skills. Preferred Experience Experience in leading group therapy sessions, with an emphasis on creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all participants. A background in working with diverse populations to better understand and address the varying needs of clients. Familiarity with digital documentation systems to streamline administrative tasks and enhance client engagement.Compensation and Benefits Salary:
