Key Qualifications:

Valid CT 070 School Psychologist License Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred Comprehensive understanding of best practices for evaluations, re-evaluations, and psychological assessment Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective report writing and recommending interventions Ability to collaborate with colleagues and support individualized education programs (IEPs) in PPT meetings

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct student evaluations, re-evaluations, and assessments to guide educational interventions Collaborate with the PPT team to develop, implement, and review IEPs Deliver direct counseling services to students, fostering social, emotional, and academic growth Provide written reports with actionable recommendations for school staff and families Serve as a resource to staff and caregivers regarding mental health, behavioral, and educational concerns Support efforts to enhance a positive and inclusive school climate This is an excellent chance to expand your professional skills while making a positive difference for students and colleagues.
