Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a full-time, onsite school psychologist working with a PreK caseload. This contract opportunity is located near Laurel, DE, and offers the chance to collaborate with passionate educators and help foster a supportive learning environment for young learners.
What We're Looking For:
Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist Experience or strong interest in serving PreK-aged children Solid understanding of psychoeducational evaluations, behavior intervention strategies, and IEP development Ability to work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school setting Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, observations, and consultations to identify students' strengths and needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized educational plans (IEPs) Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support students' academic, behavioral, and emotional success Participate in eligibility and intervention meetings, providing recommendations for services or accommodations Provide direct support services, including counseling and social skills training as needed Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with all relevant guidelines Promote a positive and inclusive school climate for all students Enjoy the experience of working in a supportive, collaborative environment while making a direct difference in the lives of young students.
