Job Description
The Seminole Tribe of Florida's Center for Behavioral Health department is a CARF accredited mental and behavioral health outpatient provider for adults, adolescents and children. CBH provides a comprehensive array of behavioral health services including: substance abuse and mental health therapy, psychiatric services for children and adults, psychological services for children and adults, crisis intervention and stabilization, case management, prevention initiatives year-round and a 24 hour on call service to the tribal communities.

The main office is located on the Hollywood Reservation at 111 W Coral Way, Hollywood, FL 33021 the position is considered Tribal-Wide so there will be some day travel needed to visit various Reservations including Okeechobee, Clewiston, and Immokalee. Position Summary The incumbent in this position is responsible for conducting psychological assessments of Seminole Tribe of Florida's children, adolescents and adults. The individual performs assessments related to intellectual abilities, academic skills, and mental health issues. The incumbent provides appropriate diagnoses and clinical recommendations, as well as, provides appropriate psycho-education/feedback.
Qualifications / Requirements
Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy.
D. or Ph.D.) from a nationally accredited American Psychology Association (APA) program is required. Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with children and adults is required. Prior experience conducting Autism and/or Neuropsychological Evaluations is preferred, but not required. Current and active licensed by the State of Florida as a Psychologist is required. Individual must possess a valid Florida Driver's License. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages required. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to speak the Creek and/or Miccosukee language is preferred. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. This position is based on the Tampa Reservation which is at 6401 Harney Rd, Tampa, Fl 33610. The schedule is fully in-person Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. It's a Tribal-Wide role so you would also have some day travel to other Reservations including Lakeland, Okeechobee, and Hollywood which we'll factor into your work schedule and you can use one of our tribal vehicles to get there.
