Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact every day by providing critical psychological services to students in a supportive educational environment. This onsite, contract opportunity for School Psychologists offers a unique chance to work closely with diverse student populations and collaborate with dedicated staff to foster student growth and well-being. Your assignment runs from ASAP through May 21, 2027, with full-time hours (at least 37.5 hours per week) and the potential to consider part-time arrangements, depending on availability. The specific caseload will be determined in partnership with school leadership to align with your preferences and experience, ensuring the best fit for both you and the students you will serve. Candidates should be comfortable documenting their services through daily logs.
Qualifications:
Valid Georgia Educator Certificate in School Psychology (required) Experience working in educational settings with various age groups Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to manage documentation and daily service logs responsibly
Preferred:
Adaptability to adjust to caseload needs after interview and discussion
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and provide direct student support Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide crisis intervention and mental health support as needed Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise in student mental health This contract role places you in a welcoming school community, where your contributions will directly enhance the learning environment.
