Innovative Health Care is seeking a Psychological Testing Assistant to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality psychological and diagnostic services to individuals and families throughout Southeast Idaho. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in behavioral health, special education, applied behavior analysis (ABA), psychology, or human services who is passionate about helping individuals with developmental disabilities and interested in gaining hands-on experience in psychological assessment. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed psychologist, the Psychological Testing Assistant will administer and score psychological assessments and prepare accurate, organized testing data to assist the psychologist in diagnostic and treatment decisions. The position is currently part-time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position with benefits. What You'll Do Administer and score standardized psychological assessments under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, including measures of cognitive/intellectual functioning; academic achievement; neuropsychological functioning; behavioral functioning; emotional and personality functioning. Establish a professional, supportive rapport with clients while administering assessments. Assist clients and families with completing required forms and paperwork. Accurately record, organize, and prepare assessment data and results for review by the psychologist. Follow standardized testing procedures and maintain consistency and accuracy throughout the assessment process. Attend and actively participate in scheduled supervision sessions with the licensed psychologist. Maintain strict confidentiality and follow applicable ethical and professional standards. Complete documentation and other administrative/office tasks as needed. Communicate professionally with clients, families, and members of the clinical team. Help ensure a positive, respectful experience for every client.

What We're Looking For Required:

Bachelor's degree in psychology, human services, special education, behavioral health, or a related field (or currently working toward a bachelor's degree). Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or in special education, behavioral health, or related settings. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in patient care. Dependability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.

Preferred:

Previous experience administering or scoring psychological, cognitive, academic, behavioral, or neuropsychological assessments. Education or experience in psychology, special education, ABA, behavioral health, or a related field.

Pay:

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
