Qualifications and Experience:

Valid School Psychologist certification for Illinois (PEL with School Psychologist endorsement) Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field Prior experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred Strong background in assessment, crisis intervention, and counseling techniques Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and community agencies Ability to develop and implement evidence-based interventions and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for referred students Collaborate with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Special Education teams to identify student needs Provide direct counseling and consultative support to students, teachers, and families Interpret assessment data and participate in eligibility determination meetings Develop intervention strategies addressing academic, social, and behavioral challenges Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines Participate actively in professional development and staff training sessions
