AM Job Job Summary:
Quality incoming tech is responsible for reviewing, inspecting and releasing inbound product and packaging. Works with the quality team and other department personnel to meet compliance requirements.
Job Duties :
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Inspect incoming product and trailers Review COA's and specifications to release product in SAP Pulling samples of materials from inbound or as requested by other dept. Weekly inspections of materials. Review and responding to e-mails throughout the day. Printing, scanning and saving COA's. Good documentation practices. Follow facility GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) Comply with all safety, health and environmental regulations as prescribed by law. Comply with all Maker's Pride rules, regulations and policies. Perform duties ss assigned by QA Leadership. Reports food safety or food quality issues to an authority who can take action.
Required Competencies & Knowledge :
Knowledge of:
Customer specifications and internal specification management. Knowledge and experience with SAP. Basic computer literacy.
Skill in:
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong self-confidence Excellent problem-solving skills. Accurate and detail oriented.
Ability to:
Communicate in English to give and acknowledge instructions and problems. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Physical and mental ability to work 40 hours per week. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in various units of measure. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and schedule form. Work well with others in a stressful situation and meet deadlines as necessary. Keep workspace organized. Handle multiple priorities and tasks. Work independently. Proficiency in : MS Office Suite and some
SAP Work Environment :
Maintain working relationships with employees form all departments. Maintain working relationships with management personnel. Communicate effectively with all employees and management.
Physical Requirements :
Reaching with hands/arms throughout the day. Ability to use hands and fingers. Ability to see, hear and talk. Lift/carry up to 25 lbs. Ability to work in light to moderate noise levels in the warehouse. Able to walk up to 200 yards to work areas. Stand for long periods of time during the day. May climb steps to and from work and break areas; may climb ladders for inspection Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in close proximity to others. Ability to distinguish colors. Occasional bending, stooping and twisting throughout the day
Minimum Qualifications :

Starting Pay:
Quality Technician I $20.10hr, a shift differential is offered for 2 nd and 3 rd shift opportunities. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the 90 th day of employment. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
