Key Qualifications:

Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Previous experience working with elementary-aged students is highly preferred. Strong background in conducting initial and re-evaluations, including administration of assessments and report writing. Excellent communication skills for sharing findings and leading meetings with multidisciplinary teams and families. Commitment to upholding confidentiality and professional ethics within an educational environment. Ability to effectively collaborate and provide insights for student support planning.

Primary Responsibilities:

Administer and interpret a variety of cognitive, academic, social, and emotional assessments for students in grades 1-5. Prepare comprehensive and informative evaluation reports. Take the lead in eligibility meetings, presenting assessment findings in a manner that is accessible to staff and parents. Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support individualized learning and behavioral plans. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate within a supportive school setting to ensure student needs are met efficiently and compassionately. This part-time role consists of three to four days per week, offering balance and flexibility while allowing you to make a difference in students educational journeys.
