Key Qualifications:

Indiana licensure as a School Psychologist Experience with early childhood, Pre-K, or special education preferred Strong background in behavioral interventions and progress monitoring for young learners Effective communicator with teachers, caregivers, and interdisciplinary staff Ability to deliver evidence-based practices in a school-based setting

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver First Step Transition behavioral intervention services that encourage school readiness and positive classroom environments for Pre-K students Implement the First Step Transition program, including direct behavioral coaching, teacher support, and collaborative progress monitoring Provide transition support for children beginning their school journey, working alongside multidisciplinary professionals (OT, PT, SLP, Autism Consultant, nurse, and others) Conduct preschool evaluations and provide behavioral consultation as part of a team Engage families in the intervention and transition process through clear communication and ongoing support Manage a typical caseload of approximately 70 Pre-K students, with some flexibility for additional hours as needed Work on-site from August 14, 2026, through June 4, 2027; standard workweek is 35 hours This contract opportunity offers the chance to help shape foundational school experiences for children with diverse needs in a dynamic, multidisciplinary setting.
