Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting student success as a school psychologist within a dedicated educational setting in the greater New Orleans area. This full-time, onsite contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of May 2027, aligning with the school calendar and offering you the chance to make a lasting impact for multiple academic years. Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Must hold a current Louisiana DOE certification for School Psychologists Prior experience in school settings preferred Willingness to complete district-specific drug screening and fingerprinting, in addition to standard credentialing Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills Adaptable to diverse student needs and capable of managing evolving caseloads across assigned schools
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Offer individual and group counseling to support student emotional and academic growth Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies that address student needs Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional recommendations that foster positive outcomes Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with district standards Why Consider This Opportunity?
