Pay Rate:
Starting at $55/hour Birch Agency is seeking dedicated in-person School Psychologists to support students within a school district in Eastpointe, Michigan . This opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success through assessment, collaboration, and intervention services.
Position Overview:
Birch Agency is seeking compassionate and qualified School Psychologists to provide comprehensive psychological services in an educational setting. These positions offer the opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success and ensure compliance with special education requirements.
Position Details:
Full-time, in-person position Split between two elementary school buildings
Grade Levels:
Kindergarten-5th Grade Caseload of approximately 20-30 students Caseload includes a combination of Child Find/Initial Evaluations and Re-Evaluations Strong administrative and multidisciplinary team support
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations. Support Child Find activities and eligibility determination processes. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement. Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Travel between assigned school buildings as needed. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
Qualifications:
Valid Michigan Educator's License - School Psychology . Strong assessment, report writing, and consultation skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
