Job Description

Embark on a fulfilling contract assignment for the 2026-2027 school year as a School Psychologist, providing essential support to K-12 students in the Monroe County area. This onsite-only role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact across multiple school locations while working collaboratively with dedicated educational teams and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students in grades K-12 Develop intervention plans and recommend evidence-based strategies for academic, behavioral, and social success Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure students needs are met Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and the development of student support plans Contribute to crisis response efforts and offer direct counseling or skill-building to students as needed Maintain accurate, compliant records and documentation
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Active Michigan School Psychologist license (verification required via the state credential search portal) Previous experience in school-based psychological services is preferred Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams Demonstrated knowledge of special education processes
Assignment Details:
