Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' well-being and academic success as a school psychologist at a welcoming educational setting near Twin Lake, MI. This contract role allows you to utilize your expertise in assessment, counseling, and intervention while collaborating with educators and families to create positive outcomes for all learners.

Desired Qualifications:

Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Current state certification or licensure in school psychology Experience conducting psychological and educational evaluations for students across a variety of age groups Strong skills in counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation Familiarity with developing, monitoring, and revising Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

Complete comprehensive psychological assessments and reports to guide instructional and behavioral planning Offer individual and group counseling for students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges Provide consultation and recommendations to educators and parents regarding strategies and interventions Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans in compliance with applicable laws and regulations Participate in school-based team meetings and crisis response as needed Support district initiatives focused on fostering safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments By taking on this rewarding assignment, you will play an essential role in empowering students to reach their fullest potential.
