9649093-63301 Job Description Step into a pivotal role supporting K12 students as a school psychologist in a dynamic educational setting near Florissant, MO. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make an immediate impact, with responsibilities centered around Child Find initiatives and special education evaluations. The primary assignment will be across two schools, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to ensure that evaluations and interventions meet the diverse needs of students.

Key Qualifications:

Valid and active Missouri Department of Education (MO DOE) school psychologist certification Experience working with K12 populations, ideally within a school district setting Thorough understanding of special education processes and Child Find requirements Ability to handle an average caseload of 810 evaluations at a time (approximately 32 cases annually for full-time roles) Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and families Flexible to work either full-time (37.5 hours/week) or part-time/short-term as preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for possible special education services Participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams to determine eligibility and develop support plans Maintain organized case records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Engage in proactive communication with stakeholders to explain findings, recommendations, and next steps Complete required technology and credentialing forms, including fingerprint verification, for district clearance This position is set to start as soon as possible and continues through the end of May 2027, with the flexibility to accommodate part-time or short-term professionals. Youll work mostly onsite, supporting a manageable caseload and playing an essential role in educational outcomes.
