Job Description

Qualifications:

Hold a valid New Jersey School Psychologist certificate

Certificate - MUST

BE ELECTRONICALLY AVAILABLE IN POWERSCHOOL

Experience working on a Child Study Team

Demonstrate an understanding of current rules and regulations with federal and state mandated special education timelines

Demonstrate an understanding of current Child Study Team assessments and program criteria

Experience working with school age students with special needs

Have ability to relate to and work with children with disabilities

Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character

Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with staff and families

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, and the community
