Make a difference in the lives of elementary students as a School Psychologist on a contract basis, working in a supportive school environment near Cicero, NY. This opportunity offers full-time hours from approximately 8:45 am to 4:00 pm. The contract starts as soon as possible and runs through June 10, with the option to return for the next school year starting September 8, 2026, through late June 2026.

What We're Looking For:

Valid NY School Psychologist license (NY PSYCH.) Experience with elementary-aged students preferred Background in school-based psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and collaboration with educators Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to provide a full range of school psychologist functions (assessment, intervention, consultation, crisis response) Flexibility and readiness to work with diverse student populations

Your Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments to identify students needs and supports Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to design effective interventions Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in behavioral and mental health Deliver direct counseling services to students, both individually and in groups Track and document student progress, maintaining required records Support a positive and inclusive school climate Serve as a resource for faculty regarding mental health and learning strategies You'll work primarily at the elementary level with a standard caseload, focusing on supporting student well-being and academic success.
