Key Qualifications:

Current New York SLP license required NY Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Certification is a must Experience in school settings working with diverse student populations preferred Ability to collaborate with educational staff, families, and other service providers Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Deliver direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with students IEP goals Conduct assessments to monitor progress and determine therapy needs Maintain accurate records and submit required reports in a timely manner Consult with teachers and participate in case conferences and IEP meetings Travel between multiple sites within the district as assigned Youll receive weekly pay as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage.
