Job Overview Carter Psychology Center is hiring for multiple positions! Carter Psychology Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Psychologist Licensed Forensic Psychologist (preferred) to join our growing behavioral health team in Bradenton, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to provide evidence-based therapy and assessment to a diverse outpatient population while maintaining a healthy work-life balance in a hybrid schedule that combines in-person sessions with remote/telehealth care . The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in mental health counseling, clinical assessment, and forensic evaluation (preferred) and is comfortable working across age groups. Duties - If Clinical Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and/or family counseling utilizing therapeutic modalities such as (but not limited to) cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, and trauma-informed care. Facilitate behavioral health interventions for diverse populations. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and document patient progress thoroughly. Provide evidence‑based outpatient therapy and assessment for adults Develop individualized treatment plans Maintain clinical documentation Optional consultation and collaboration with colleagues Duties - If Forensic Conduct comprehensive forensic evaluations to determine competency. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and document patient progress thoroughly. Maintain clinical documentation. Willing/Able to travel to attorney offices to conduct evaluations if required. Qualifications - Required Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution. Active (or license-eligible) independent license in Florida as Licensed (Or License-Eligible) Psychologist . (If Clinical) Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, or families in clinical settings such as private practice, clinics, hospitals, schools, or telehealth platforms. Competence with clinical and/or forensic assessment and treatment planning. Comfort using technology for telehealth sessions and electronic medical records. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
