Job Description

A contract position is available for a School Psychologist to support educational and behavioral needs through telehealth and onsite services. This role is based in Denton, MD, primarily serving two elementary school sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct cognitive and executive function assessments, including eligibility evaluations. Assist in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Participate actively in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) frameworks. Provide consultation for 504 plans and collaborate with educational teams to support student needs.
Qualifications:
Active Maryland School Psychologist license. Experience in administering cognitive and behavioral assessments. Familiarity with IEP development, behavior intervention strategies, and MTSS processes. Capability to consult with multidisciplinary teams to support student educational plans.
Schedule and Location:
Contract term from August 26, 2026, through June 11, 2027. 35 to 37.5 hours per week. Work arrangement flexible with options for onsite presence (minimum three days per week) and remote work for up to two days. Position requires presence in Denton, MD elementary schools, with a hybrid telehealth component. This opportunity provides a chance to apply specialized psychological expertise to support diverse student populations and educational teams in a structured school environment.
