Qualifications:
Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Active Rhode Island School Psychologist certification (RIDE 5403) Experience conducting psycho-educational evaluations and participating in eligibility determination Ability to support IEP development and guide multidisciplinary teams Skilled in delivering individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support Strong communication and consultation skills for collaboration with educators, families, and related service providers Flexible with both full-time and part-time availability (full-time preferred)
Responsibilities:
Provide direct psychological services to students from preschool through age 21 Conduct evaluations, observations, and assessments for special education eligibility Participate actively in IEP meetings and support educational planning Deliver counseling and behavioral interventions tailored to student needs Consult with teachers and staff to design interventions and support student growth Collect and monitor data to inform student progress and recommend strategies Respond to school-based crises as needed Assist in planning and implementing schoolwide mental health initiatives Take the next step in your career as a trusted resource for students and educators.
