What you'll bring: Active School Psychologist certification for South Carolina (SC Psych) Proven experience in school-based psychological services or assessments Thorough understanding of elementary-level academic, emotional, and behavioral development Strong communication, consultation, and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing student needs and flexible work environments Your key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to support students' academic and behavioral success Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and resource recommendations as needed Maintain up-to-date documentation in line with district/state requirements Provide consultative services to school staff to improve outcomes for students Adapt services for a blended onsite/virtual work model, utilizing digital tools for remote engagement This role runs through May 28, 2027 and features a 37.5-hour workweek, serving elementary-aged students in a supportive school community.
