9541143-29063 Job Description Step into a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in educational communities as a dedicated School Psychologist. This contract position offers a full-time schedule37.5 hours per weekthroughout the entire academic year, allowing you to build strong relationships and deliver consistent support to students and staff.
Key Qualifications:
Masters or specialist degree in School Psychology Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience with psychoeducational assessments, intervention planning, and counseling services within a school setting Knowledge of IEP development and participation in eligibility determinations Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, parents, educators, and administrators Commitment to ethical standards and practices in school psychology
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students academic, behavioral, and emotional needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students Consult with teachers and families to support student learning and social-emotional development Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and problem-solving teams Maintain thorough documentation and case management according to school policies
