Job Description
Neurobehavioral Center for Growth is seeking a full-time psychometrist 4-5 days a week in our Bountiful and Salt Lake City offices to assist in psychological and neuropsychological testing of children and individuals across the lifespan. There are potential growth opportunities available in the role within our company. Our psychometrists work under the direction of a team of licensed psychologists and neuropsychologists in several offices from South Ogden to Salt Lake City. This position would primarily be in our Bountiful and SLC locations after training. This would be a great position for someone with an undergraduate degree in psychology to gain firsthand experience in the psychology field.
Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in psychology or other relevant major i.e., neurosciencePreferred Requirements:
Experience with the mental and behavioral health field and patient population Experience working with children Experience with assessment or research, statistical analysisResponsibilities:
Administration and scoring of neuropsychological, psychological, personality, and academic assessments for clients of all ages and abilities. Prepare all materials, protocols, and stimuli needed for administration. This involves entering client information to determine start points and norms for data collection. Assessments must be administered and scored professionally, ethically, and by following specific directions. Scanning and uploading all of the results to the client's file for the psychologist to then interpret. Entering all of the numerical data derived from the assessments into the client's pending report. Build rapport with the client, ensure their level of comfort, and sense their needs during the testing session.Schedule:
Monday- Friday Approximately 8:30 am
- 5:30 pm
- 4 or 5 days a week This position is full-time, working 30+ hours per week in our Bountiful and Salt Lake City offices, there is some potential for hours in West Jordan if the candidate desires as well.
