Key Qualifications:

Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field Valid School Psychologist certification/license for the state Experience conducting cognitive assessments, interpreting results, and contributing to eligibility determinations Proficiency with evaluation tools, rating scales, and classroom observation methods Strong communication skills for guiding teams and working with diverse student populations Prior experience in a school environment is preferred

Essential Responsibilities:

Conduct student evaluations, including cognitive testing and behavioral assessments Interpret eligibility criteria worksheets, guiding school teams through the eligibility process Lead and participate in focus meetings such as re-evaluations, eligibility determinations, child study, and more Partner with educational diagnosticians, social workers, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive student support Perform classroom observations, document findings, and communicate clearly with staff and families Support students across several sites as assigned, adjusting workload with staffing and caseload variations
