Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling opportunity to make a lasting impact supporting high school students as a full-time School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This contract position offers the chance to collaborate with a dedicated educational team and provide essential services in a supportive environment. You'll be working at a single high school site, giving you the ability to build meaningful relationships with both students and staff members. Schedule for this role is conveniently set from 7:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week. The assignment runs from August 27, 2026, through June 17, 2027, aligning with the school calendar and allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification - required Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting Expertise in conducting psychological and academic evaluations Strong ability to interpret assessment data and guide interventions Collaborative mindset for teaming with educators, parents, and support staff Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct 50-60 psychoeducational evaluations over the course of the year Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student progress and necessary interventions Develop and implement strategies to support academic and social-emotional growth Participate in IEP meetings and assist with eligibility determinations Maintain accurate records and adhere to federal, state, and district policies Provide crisis intervention and support as needed This role provides the rewarding chance to work directly with students, helping them reach their full potential in a vibrant high school community.
