Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Radiologic Technologist to a dynamic environment where your diagnostic imaging skills make a meaningful difference in patient care. This contract position seeks an individual with a strong background in radiology and X-ray technology, ready to deliver high-quality imaging services and support clinical teams in fast-paced settings.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Valid state licensure to practice as an X-ray Tech or Radiology Technologist Demonstrated proficiency in operating radiographic and imaging equipment Knowledge of safe radiation practices and protocols Strong communication and organizational abilities Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with diverse healthcare professionals Prior experience in an acute care or hospital imaging setting preferred
Schedule/Hours:
Contract-based assignment; scheduling details provided during interview
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray and other radiologic procedures as ordered by medical staff Prepare examination rooms and maintain equipment functionality according to regulatory standards Accurately position patients to obtain optimal images while prioritizing safety and comfort Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of imaging records Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to facilitate seamless patient care Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations Assist in the training or orientation of new imaging staff as needed
