Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic imaging environment as an experienced CT Tech, leveraging your expertise in computed tomography to produce high-quality diagnostic images. This contract position offers you the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative radiology team, ensuring precise results with advanced imaging technology.
Qualifications:
Valid and current certification as a CT Technologist required (ARRT or equivalent). State licensure in radiologic technology where applicable. Minimum of one year recent experience performing diagnostic CT imaging. Comprehensive knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety protocols. Ability to operate CT imaging equipment efficiently with a focus on patient care. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Position patients appropriately to capture precise anatomical images while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Assess images for clarity, completeness, and diagnostic value; work closely with radiologists for further review. Maintain and calibrate CT equipment, documenting maintenance and reporting issues as needed. Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and privacy standards throughout all procedures. Responsibly manage imaging records and patient documentation. Support and assist fellow healthcare professionals as needed, contributing to a positive patient experience.
