Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into an important position where your expertise as a CT and CT/PET Tech makes a real difference in patient care. In this contract opportunity, your technical proficiency will be key to capturing high-quality diagnostic images and supporting precise, compassionate healthcare.
Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent. Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT) required. PET imaging experience highly preferred. State licensure as required per regulatory guidelines. Demonstrated competency in operating CT and PET/CT scanners and associated imaging software. Strong knowledge of patient positioning, scanning protocols, and radiation safety practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment.Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT and PET/CT imaging equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic scans. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures, explaining processes and answering questions as needed. Prepare, position, and care for patients during scans. Evaluate images for clarity and diagnostic suitability, and collaborate with radiologists for interpretation. Maintain accurate patient records and adherence to all regulatory standards for patient privacy and equipment maintenance. Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot minor issues, and report any malfunctions. Follow established infection control protocols.Benefits and Perks:
