Your expertise will play a vital role in supporting physicians and ensuring positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Current certification or registry from the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in CT. Previous experience performing CT scans in a clinical setting. Demonstrated proficiency with imaging equipment, safety protocols, and patient positioning. Current state license in Radiologic Technology (if required). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and privacy standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized CT scans as ordered by physicians, adhering to established protocols. Prepare patients for imaging procedures and provide clear instructions to ensure safety and comfort. Accurately position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimal images. Maintain detailed patient records and ensure the integrity of imaging data. Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to review findings and support patient care decisions. Monitor and maintain CT equipment, ensuring functionality and cleanliness. Follow all safety and infection-control policies throughout the imaging process.
