Clearlake Job Summary:
We are looking for a Mammography Technologist . The ideal candidate will performs specialized breast imaging exams that support the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. You will operate advanced imaging systems, including: Volpara MRS System Hologic Mammography Equipment GE Dexa Machine Key Responsibilities Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures as ordered Assist radiologists with advanced breast imaging and biopsy procedures Ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnostic interpretation Provide thorough patient education while maintaining privacy and comfort Follow strict infection control and safety protocols Collect and document relevant patient history and exam preparation details Collaborate with care teams and escalate complex issues when needed Maintain compliance with all departmental and organizational standards Perform additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications/ Experience Education & Experience Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology ( Required ) Mammography Technologist experience (Preferred) Licensure & Certifications CA Radiologic Technologist (RT) license ( Required ) Mammography Technologist license (MRT - Required in CA ) ARRT-R (Radiography) certification ( Required ) ARRT-M (Mammography) certification (Required in OR, Preferred in CA & HI) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification ( Required ) Fluoroscopy license (Preferred in CA) Venipuncture certification (Preferred in CA)
