Job Description
Registered Nurse II, Surgery (AHCL) Job Summary The Operating Room Staff Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients across the age spectrum within the Surgical Services Department, functioning as a scrub, circulating, or float nurse and supervising and coordinating care planning with other disciplines. Education & Experience Graduate from an accredited school of nursing: Required Licenses & Certifications Current California Registered Nurse license: Required Current BLS certification, recertified every two years: Required Key Responsibilities Functions as a scrub, circulating, or float nurse in the operating room as assigned. Adheres to the Corporate Compliance Code of Conduct and maintains established hospital-wide and departmental policies and procedures. Participates in the site identification process and time-out on each case. Provides an optimal physical and emotional environment for the patient. Maintains and meets expectations on time for all competencies, licenses, certifications, and education requirements as outlined by local administration and regulatory agencies. Rotates to PACU, Outpatient Endoscopy Unit, and Central Service as assigned, and shares call duty as required. #Workwolf
