In this vital role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures that assist in the accurate evaluation and treatment of patients. Radiotech is required to run a C-Arm (fluroscopic machine-mostly OEC 9900 or

OEC 9800

) and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate X-ray machines,(fluoroscopy machine-OEC 9900/9800) to produce clear and accurate images. Implement radiation safety procedures diligently to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure during all imaging procedures. Maintain strict aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols during invasive or interventional radiology procedures. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for diagnostic evaluation, ensuring comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to each case. Document all procedures accurately in patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Maintain logs of daily fluroscopy procedures, Phantom tests, radiation badge reports, and apron logs as per Title 17. Requirements Proven experience operating radiologic imaging equipment i.e. live x-ray/Fluroscopy machine. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety protocols. Prior experience working in ASC settings. Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) with additional specialization in mammography or nuclear medicine preferred. Ability to demonstrate proficiency in implementing radiation safety procedures and maintaining patient safety standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care while explaining procedures clearly.
