Jamboree Imaging Center Hoag Health System - 4.0 Newport Beach, CA Job Details Full-time 15 hours ago Qualifications BLS Certification Full Job Description Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Bone Density Tech provides direct patient care by performing bone density scans and reviews scans for content and quality. This position is also responsible for ensuring the scan equipment is functioning properly. In addition, the Bone Density Tech performs various administrative responsibilities for the department, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, obtaining prior authorizations, and filing and photocopying. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Successful completion of an on the job or formal education/training program in bone densitometry
License Required:
Limited License as a Bone Densitometry Technician issued by the
State of California, Radiologic Health Branch Certifications Required:
BLS Certification
