Job Description

SUMMARY:
Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a 12-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of recent Interventional Radiology experience, strong procedural knowledge, and the ability to provide high-quality patient care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. First-time travelers are not accepted for this assignment. Responsibilities Prepare and assist physicians during a wide variety of Interventional Radiology procedures. Maintain sterile technique and ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols. Set up and operate fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound, and angiography equipment. Scrub, circulate, and assist throughout complex IR procedures. Prepare patient access sites and assist with vascular closure devices. Perform equipment setup, maintenance, inventory management, and PACS documentation. Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members. Participate in Rapid Response and Code Team situations as needed. Float within the facility and scope of practice when required. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology experience Previous travel experience required First-time travelers will not be considered ARRT (R) certification BLS Certification ACLS Certification Experience with Epic EMR Strong knowledge of sterile technique and infection control Preferred Qualifications ARRT (VI) Certification Trauma Level II experience Venous access and vascular closure device experience Any Specific Mandate skill required Previous travel experience is required (first-time travelers will not be considered) ARRT (R) certification (required) BLS certification (required) ACLS certification (required) Epic EMR experience (required) HL01
Pay:
$2,800.00 - $3,100.00 per week Application Question(s): Do you have at least 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience? Do you have previous travel assignment experience as an IR Tech? Do you hold current ARRT (R), BLS, and ACLS certifications? Are you experienced with Epic charting and performing IR procedures (angiography, embolization, vascular access, and sterile scrub/circulation duties)?
