Duties Perform x-ray services for patients with orthopedic-related injuries and complaints Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them accurately, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout. Implement radiation safety protocols diligently to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure during all imaging procedures. Ensure all medical equipment is operated correctly and perform routine quality checks to uphold optimal performance standards. Skills Extensive knowledge of radiology practices and the performance of x-rays Proficiency in operating in x-ray machine Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology to accurately capture images that support precise diagnoses. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to radiologic procedures and patient care documentation. Experience working in orthopedics or an urgent care setting is preferred but not required Ability to implement radiation safety procedures diligently while maintaining high standards of patient care and comfort. Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures clearly to patients and collaborating effectively with office team.

Pay:

$36.00 - $39.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
